We are a full service outboard engineering company based in Brighton, covering the south coast up to 100 miles* (we can travel further please call to discuss if you need our services)
We offer the unique service of bringing the workshop to you, which saves you time, trailer, towing hassle and money! We have been running since 2009 and have all sorts of clients ranging from Sport RIB enthusiasts, Council safety boats to sailing schools and rowing clubs in Kent, Sussex, Hampshire and London.
We deal with insurance claims such as sunken boat repair or engine re-builds. Boat electrics and plumbing available too. We only use genuine parts and accessories so you know your engine will have the best parts needed to ensure reliability. We are a fully authorised YAMAHA marine dealer offering you the best outboards on the market and the full range of Genuine Parts and Accessories to keep your Outboard running to it's best. We can also deal with any warranty repairs
Keeping your Outboard serviced gives you peace of mind out on the water. We are Yamaha trained and have 18 years working solely on Outboard motors.
Servicing Your Outboard
Every 100 Hours / 12 Months - Whichever comes first, your outboard could need a service. This will ensure you have no problems when out on the water. If you have a new Yamaha Outboard under warranty, it's advised to keep up with the annual services to validate your warranty for years to come.
Each outboard has it’s own special service requirements dependant on the number of hours. We follow the manufacturer's maintenance interval chart in accordance with your current engine hours. This ensures that your outboard is serviced properly, which reduces the chances of having problems in the future.
How It Works
To start, we will ask for your outboards model and serial number to ensure that we can quote for an accurate service using genuine parts and oils.
We come to you - this makes servicing your engine quick, clean and hassle free. Our van is fitted with the equipment and parts needed to carry out servicing and repairs. We don't charge a 'call-out', but there is a minimum charge for the first hour depending on your location. Please ask / get in touch for more information.
We can service your outboard where you desire, at a marina* or at your home on the trailer. With smaller outboards, if you prefer; we can pick up, service and return at your convenience too. We use oil draining tools, eliminating oil spills thereby keeping your outboard, boat and area clean.
You are also welcome to drop off your outboard to our unit if you're local.

Bringing you the best outboard manufacturer and their unrivalled reliability. We can offer the unique service of bringing your new YAMAHA to you, fully PDI.d and ready to go. Of course you are welcome to pick-up from our unit in Newhaven and delivery is available upon request.
We can also remove your old outboard motor and fit your new YAMAHA at the unit as and when you require. Turn key boating and renowned reliability as standard with the five year leisure warranty.
REPAIR
MOS can undertake outboard repairs from powerhead re-builds to welding cracked gearbox fins. We also have the Yamaha and ETEC Diagnostic tool for usage and fault code read-outs. We currently don't have the Diagnostic software for Suzuki, Mariner, Honda or Tohatsu. However, we are working with our parteners to try and get these tools.
When it comes to repairs, we will only use genuine parts to make sure you don't have any trouble down the line.
Gearbox rebuilds, Cylinder-head refurbs, Carburettor cleaning, Fuel injector cleaning, Brackets and Power trim and tilt system repairs are among a handful of things we undertake
