Established in 2009, Mobile Outboard Services is a full service outboard engineering company based in Brighton, covering the south coast up to 100 miles* (we can travel further please call to discuss if you need our services) Our current hourly rate is £70.00+VAT (£84.00inc)
Meet our founder Julian, a dedicated marine engineer who began their journey with Yamaha back in 2005. After honing their skills a Yamaha main dealer in the Caribbean several years, they returned to the UK to establish their own business in 2009. With years of expertise and a passion for marine, they continue to provide top-notch services to our clients.
We deal with insurance claims such as sunken boat repair or engine re-builds. Boat electrics and plumbing available too.
Keeping your Outboard serviced gives you peace of mind out on the water. We are Yamaha trained and have 18 years working solely on Outboard motors.
Every 100 Hours / 12 Months - Whichever comes first, your outboard could need a service. This will ensure you have no problems when out on the water. If you have a new Yamaha Outboard under warranty, it's advised to keep up with the annual services to validate your warranty for years to come.
Each outboard has it’s own special service requirements dependant on the number of hours. We follow the manufacturer's maintenance interval chart in accordance with your current engine hours. This ensures that your outboard is serviced properly, which reduces the chances of having problems in the future.
How It Works
To start, we will ask for your outboards model and serial number to ensure that we can quote for an accurate service using genuine parts and oils.
We come to you - this makes servicing your engine quick, clean and hassle free. Our van is fitted with the equipment and parts needed to carry out servicing and repairs. We don't charge a 'call-out', but there is a minimum charge for the first hour depending on your location. Please ask / get in touch for more information.
We can service your outboard where you desire, at a marina* or at your home on the trailer. With smaller outboards, if you prefer; we can pick up, service and return at your convenience too. We use oil draining tools, eliminating oil spills thereby keeping your outboard, boat and area clean.
